The “Precautionary Boil Water Notice” issued on July 3, 2026, is rescinded (cancelled) for Gasparilla Island (Cole Island) and Boca Grande North Assocation in response to the loss of pressure during a pump overload.

This notice is for all affected customers that receive their water from GIWA within the boundary area specified above and received a precautionary boil water notice on July 3, 2026.

All bacterioloigcal samples have satisfactorically passed and the water is safe to drink. In accordance with regulatory agency protocols the rescission is in effect immediately and no further instructions will be necessary.
